Update from Northern Powergrid
Please find below a message received from Northern Powergrid regarding the recent power losses.
The Parish Council will post the date of a meeting with Northern Powergrid once it has been agreed.
Community Parish action plan - your help needed
Month to month, the Parish Council makes decisions – for example - about the provision and funding of play equipment in the playing field, about whether or not to comment on planning proposals, and it considers applications for funding from voluntary groups and associations operating in the village. It would be helpful for us councillors to know more about your own priorities, to inform these sorts of decisions.
- Do you value the groups we subsidise?
- What do you want to see in the playground?
- Is there anything missing from the village?
- Are the open spaces suitable and are the rights of way accessible?
We are setting up a working group, and would welcome input from anyone living or working in the village with anything to say about these, and other
matters. If you would like to be on that group, please get in touch.
